Baby born from 27-year-old embryo

A baby, Molly, has been born more than 27 years after the embryo that led to her creation was first frozen, setting a new known record for the longest-frozen embryo to ever come to birth. The embryo was first created by another couple for IVF, then frozen on Oct. 14, 1992 and thawed 27 years later, on Feb. 10. Two days later, the embryo was transferred to Molly’s mother’s uterus.

Pro choice be like, "27 year old cluster of cells magically turns into baby. Planned Parenthood needs to do a better job!"

Remember when they told women sperm on toilet seats could get them pregnant? They really should have been worried about sperm in freezers.

Why ever do this. This child has a parent. What about "making" lots babies for a multitude of negative and subversive reasons over time. No good will come of this, as there are too many sinister factions aroubd the world. The other day we had an article on how various countries train dolphins to be ant-ship 'weapons' by carrying high explosives and detonating against any water crafts. It takes years to train them. Same years can be afforded for created parentless children. Not possible? Can never happen? Thats what we all want to believe. Yet children were used to carry explosives to opposed military forces in a way that for many of them it was a suicide mission.

I wonder how long the embryos are deodorizer before freezing. If the particular stage of development was changed. Was there any trauma within that stage?
