EU moves to realize ’right to disconnect’ for employees working from home

Members of European Parliament voted in favor of a ’right to disconnect’ from the internet for employees working from home across the 27-nation bloc due to coronavirus restrictions. The lawmakers argue that disconnecting from online work should be a fundamental right and they want the European Commission to draw up rules allowing people to take time out from the pressures of working at home.
