Israel headed for another election as lawmakers vote to dissolve parliament

Israel looks set to be heading for its fourth election in less than two years after Knesset, the country’s parliament, voted to dissolve itself. The vote passed with the backing of Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s party, which joined hands with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in April. Gantz came down heavily on Netanyahu over wrangling on the budget, which he called ’an economic terror attack.’
