Putin orders mass Covid-19 vaccination in Russia starting next week
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered mass vaccination against Covid-19, which will start from next week. Putin’s order, which he issued in a videoconference with officials, came just hours after the United Kingdom approved Pfizer/BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine. Russia said it developed an effective vaccine, dubbed Sputnik V, in August and started its mass production soon after.
