Trump Organization, Kushner Companies beneficiaries of PPP loans: Report

The SBA released a dataset on small businesses that received a PPP, and an analysis shows that the Trump Organization and the Kushner Companies benefited. Among the findings by NBC, over 25 PPP loans over $3.65M were given to businesses with addresses at Trump and Kushner real estate properties, paying rent to those owners. These are in question given most retained a negligible amount of jobs.

I’m pretty sure that some of his were denied though as well. If they were non-essential businesses that were closed, they shouldn’t be discriminated against. I know Hyatt, the hotel chain, also received such a loan (owner is governor of Illinois), and Wolff (Governor of Pennsylvania) had his cabinetry business remain open during lockdown. If we don’t want politicians growing fat on the taxpayer dollar, we should have a standard that is applied equally and fairly for all politicians.

These loans were made to Trumps tenants who could then pay rent. We know he owns real estate. There doesn't seem to be a story here. Other than distracting from how these PPP loans were made to people and companies who did not need them, but could not turn down an opportunity to take advantage. This was a waste of tax money. And Congress should also be held responsible.

Anybody who understands how grifters work, knows they all take a "little from the top first." This entire group who took over the WH has profited from many things, which is just how they planned it.

So what? He doesn't run his companies anymore, and his employees shouldn't have to lose their jobs because his former company shouldn't benefit from loans...

I don’t care ! Tired of selective BS, tell me ALL the connections and investments of EVERY politician or shut up. The media totally blew off Hunter Biden’s income sources, when they are interested in complete unbiased reporting I’ll start listening again. We can start by telling me every conflict The Clinton Fondation had/has.

This is an idiot story. The businesses weren't Trump owned, they were Trump tennants. Should a business be denied a loan because of who they rented office space from?

They act like Trump and Kushner are the one's writing the legislation. Are these not written for business owners? If you want to be angry like I am then direct it at the appropriate target, the Congress. I don't believe in handouts, but the government shut us down so they owe us restitution. After that let us get back to work and don't do it again. This should not be an acceptable cycle.
