No charges in buggy crash that killed Amish kids: Prosecutor
A prosecutor’s office reported on Wednesday that an elderly motorist whose SUV slammed into the back of a horse-drawn buggy on a southern Michigan road will not be charged. The incident killed three Amish children from the same family. It is unlikely that 84 year old Ronald Ramsey would spend time in jail if he were charged, since he is old, and also due to threats of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is clear vehicular manslaughter. I get that he is old, but that doesn't mean you are immune to the law.
Screw his age, that old worthless man killed 3 people send him to the home already. Obviously unfit to be in society if he is unfit to face charges. Absolutely no excuse not to charge him with three counts of man slaughter or better yet, reckless homicide. Worthless old man.
Restitution and house arrest.
If he wasn't prosecuted for three manslaughters and a personal injury how many other minor accidents did the old guy get away with? Maybe others should be held accountable for his continued driving. Yes I know his driving record was clean. That just means nothing had ever been reported. Cash can make accidents vanish.
Driving rights revoked minimum
Utter 🐂💩, this guy killed 3 children. 84 year old man says h" "did not s"e" the buggy, so what was he doing driving if his vision was so impaired? The man ought to be tried for this; house arrest at the minimum.
