Illinois House Speaker may lose his job because of fellow Democrats concerns
Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan, the longest-serving state legislative leader who has held the job for 35 of the past 37 years, is fighting to keep his job. A growing number of fellow Democrats say they will not support him for another term in the midst of accusations and a swirling federal investigation that has led to charges against several confidantes regarding corporate lobbying.

If only Madigan had aligned himself with the other party...he would not be facing calls to resign - he would be tapped for advancement.
Fellow Democrats are distancing themselves from him because they don't want attention drawn to them which would expose their fraudulent lobbyist activities.... It goes on with both sides.
This guy is the biggest problem in Illinois. Please make him go away forever
