Alaska floods and landslides destroy homes, 6 people missing

Southeast Alaska has been hit by floods and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall. Reports citing Alaska State Troopers said four homes had been destroyed and six people were missing on Wednesday. Haines, which is about 90 miles northwest of Juneau, witnessed the largest landslide, which trapped about 30 people. Search for the missing has currently been called off due to unstable ground.
