Thousands evacuated as Southern California’s Bond Fire explodes overnight

The Bond Fire of Southern California exploded overnight on Thursday, burnt 6,400 acres and also injured two firefighters. The fire had begun on Wednesday, after a Silverado Canyon home caught fire amidst gusty Santa Ana winds. The fire then quickly spread to nearby vegetation and up into the hills. Due to the danger posed by the fire, 25,000 people were forced to evacuate.
