Cybercriminals posing as Covid-19 ’cold chain’ firm phished EU for vaccine info

IBM said cybercriminals acting as an agent from a ’cold chain’ company involved in Covid-19 vaccine distribution targeted an EU agency for inside information. IBM said researchers ’uncovered targets across industries, governments and global partners’ involved in setting up the vaccine cold chain. It said the crooks posed as an executive from the Chinese arm of Haier Biomedical – a legit company.
