On Thursday, Warner Bros. announced that its movies set to release in 2021 will be concurrently streamed for one month on HBO Max in order to cover up the losses incurred due to the theatre shutdowns this year. The list of films to be featured includes, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ’In the Heights,’ the ’Dune’ reboot featuring Timothée Chalamet and ’The Matrix 4.’
Johnny Depp.
Better than endlessly delaying them in either format. I will be seeing a few in theaters, at least once. My local cinemas have been good for months.
Is this WB saying the pandemic will last through 2021? An attempt to finalize the destruction of theaters nationwide? Or do they really believe they'll get billions in HBO Max subscriptions instead? How many new users does HBO need to match theater revenues?
Meaning that many won't have to pay for it.
"Hbo max the best service we provide" yeah no better stick to the illegal ways. I ain't ready for another disney plus.
