Plane makes ’textbook’ emergency landing on Minnesota highway

A small plane made an emergency landing on a Minnesota interstate without any major incident except hitting a vehicle that left no one hurt. Craig Gifford, 52, a member of the US aerobatics flying team landed the single-engine Bellanca Viking plane on the highway outside in a suburb of St Paul. Experimental Aircraft Association spokesman Dick Knapinski termed it as a ’textbook emergency landing.’

OMG I might have met this guy. Right approximate age, with that name, and he's from St. Paul. If it's the same guy, he's some big shot for a company called Alevon or Elevon or something like that ... I think. It's been a while. I drive the road the pilot landed on frequently. What a surreal video to watch.
